Frequently Asked Questions

  • We use the Absolute Colour System, which is the most accurate and up to date colour system in the world. The old “Seasons” system contained many gaps, leaving some skin tones unaccounted for. There are 18 colour palettes in the ACS system, covering every skin tone and complexion.

  • In a personal styling consultation, you’ll gain a clear understanding of how to dress for your unique body shape, proportions, and features - making future shopping far easier and more focused. You’ll also gain insight into why certain items in your current wardrobe may not be serving you. Together, we’ll define your personal style in a way that feels authentic and aligned with who you are, so you feel more comfortable and confident in what you wear. We’ll ensure your wardrobe supports your lifestyle, helping you save both time and money in the long run.

  • Yes, absolutely. The exact same principles apply to men in both colour and styling.

  • We travel all throughout metropolitan Melbourne and country Victoria. However, extra fees apply to any locations outside of 20km from the CBD. Book a free discovery call if you’re not sure.

  • How much you spend will be completely up to you. We will only take you to shops that are within your budget. You will never be pressured to buy anything. Our job is simply to find the best items for you and help you to feel amazing. If you want to take some time to think about any purchases, that is absolutely fine. We will always work within your set budget.

  • All of our services are available virtually.

Online colour consultations involve a 3 step process, to make sure we find the most accurate colour palette for you.

To see colours accurately, we need good filtered daylight. Screens can often change colours subtly. For this reason, online colour consultations involve a 3 step process, where we will request photographs with specific instructions. We post out several different colour palette cards after the initial online assessment, requesting more photos to be taken with these cards. At the third step, you will receive your palette in the post, and we will arrange a 1-hr Google meet call to complete the consultation.

In online shopping you will be shown the items we recommend will suit you based on your body shape, style personality, colours and budget.

For online wardrobe edits, it is helpful if your call is set up so that we can see your outfits in full length.

For online style, I will request a couple of full-length photographs prior to the consultation.

  • Colour makes the biggest difference when it comes to our outfit and shopping decisions. It is my belief that offering services without knowing your colours is only giving you half of the picture. To truly help you save time and money in the future, we need to know the best colours for you, so that we can make sure everything in your wardrobe mixes and matches perfectly together and to you!

  • I help you save money by showing you exactly which colours and styles suit you best, so you can stop buying things that end up unworn or returned. With a clear understanding of what works for you, shopping becomes more intentional, your wardrobe becomes more cohesive, and you avoid costly mistakes.

  • We will take you shopping wherever is most convenient and desirable for you. We cover large shopping centres, strip malls and second hand shops. Basically wherever we agree we will have the most success.

  • This is really up to you and what your priorities are for the session.

It is incredibly helpful though, if you can make sure everything in your wardrobe is clean. We won’t be able to assess all of your clothes if half of your wardrobe is in the washing basket.

I will ask you to show me one or two of your favourite pieces of clothing, so it would be helpful to have these ready. It’s also much more time efficient if you can pull out any clothes that you have questions about or are unsure about. We will start by assessing these. It’s also a good idea to take out all of your shoes out of their boxes and cupboards and line them up in rows somewhere out of tripping range.
